U.S. Data Retention Summary
This summary describes the default retention practices for the Textile.org training platform. Textile.org is a U.S.-based business and retains personal information only for practical business, training, security, compliance, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, and legal reasons.
The training platform is not intended to collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, payment card numbers, protected health information, biometric identifiers, or other sensitive personal information through normal course activity. Payment, CRM, email, equipment-sales, and commercial project records may be handled in separate systems and may be retained under separate processor terms, contracts, accounting rules, or legal holds.
Records may be retained longer than the default periods below when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, platform security, chargebacks, tax or accounting requirements, contract enforcement, subpoenas, investigations, active disputes, backup integrity, or other obligations under applicable U.S. federal or state law. When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted, anonymized, or retained only in backup archives until those archives expire.
Requests about access, correction, deletion, or retention can be sent to team@textile.org. Requests are reviewed before deletion so Textile.org does not remove records that are needed to operate the service, preserve evidence, complete contracts, protect users, or comply with applicable law.
