Our Mission

At Textile.org, we believe textile innovation depends on practical textile education. As more research groups, startups, engineering teams, and manufacturers move into smart textiles, medical textiles, composites, robotics, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing, many teams find that new hires and technical staff need a faster way to understand how textiles are actually made.

To support that need, we periodically provide access to online courses for members of the textile industry, research community, and technical workforce. These courses help engineers, researchers, students, and product teams build a working foundation in fibers, yarns, fabrics, textile structures, manufacturing methods, testing, and technical textile development.

Our training library supports our broader mission of helping organizations build real textile manufacturing capability. It gives teams a shared technical foundation before they move into feasibility testing, lab development, equipment selection, or hands-on training.
